Alain is a researcher (CR1) at INSERM. He received his PhD in 1993 from University Paris 6 in Paris, France. He was recruited by INSERM in 1996 after a post-doctoral study in Institut Curie, Orsay, France. Alain moved to the CGM (Centre de Génétique Moléculaire) at Gif/Yvette, France in 1999 before joining the Claire Francastel’s Lab at the Epigenetic and Cell Fate Unit in 2012.
