Kevin has a background in genomics, epigenomics and bioinformatics. He is now Head of the newly created bioinformatic facility in the unit. Previously, Kevin was a post doc at the Weitzman lab since late 2013, where he investigated how evolution and host-parasite interactions shaped apicomplexan genomes and epigenomes using a combination of bioinformatic approaches and molecular biology. He previously did his PhD on Microbial genomics at the Micalis Institute (INRA - P. Renaults Team) and the biotechnology company Genomic Vision, studying fungal genomes and Horizontal gene transfer between fungal genomes.
