|Guillaume obtained his pHD degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology in 2012 from Laval University in Québec city. During this period he joined the Dr. Martin Simard’s group in the CHU de Québec, Cancer Research Center where he contributed to the functional characterization of the microRNA pathways using the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans as a animal model (see complete publication see complete publication |
). He was then recruited as research associate in Martin Simard’lab from December 2012 to October 2015. Guillaume joined the Jonathan Weitzman group’s in February 2016 as postdoctoral fellow to study the SMYD family protein and their epigenetic contributions to tumor progression in liver cancer in collaboration with Sabine Colnot\'s team at the Institut Cochin, Paris. Guillaume’s research is supported by the French National Cancer Institute (INCa).
