June 22: Nataliya (Defossez group) and Beatrice (Polo group) both secured ATIP-Avenir grants to set up their own research groups. We are all very happy for them and proud of their achievements.
June 22: We are proud to share with you the results of our study on the histone chaperone HIRA and its role in transcription restart following UV damage, recently published in Nature Communications. Great team work in collaboration with Mats Ljungman’s group (Univ. Michigan, USA).
April 24: Our latest paper shedding light on fundamental molecular mechanisms safeguarding heterochromatin integrity following UV damage is now out in Nature Communications. Great work by Anna, Audrey, Pierre, Odile and Sophie in collaboration with Olivier Renaud and Olivier Leroy from the Curie Institute.

Alix Silvert, research engineer, has joined the IPOP-UP project. They started working on March 3, and their office is located inside of the BiBs platform’s space (room 329, Lamarck A). They will take care of animation for Université de Paris’ network of bioinformaticians.
