After getting her Biotechnology Licence at Paris-Sud University, Ikrame start to work as technician in Eric Pailhoux’s team at INRA of Jouy en Josas. Then, after one year and half she decided to come back at school and she did her M1 at Paris-Sud University. She did her M1 internship in Valerie Doye’s team (Institut Jacques Monod) working on the role of the interaction between Pom33 and Kap123 proteins in yeast. Then, she did a M2 in Cellular Biology at Paris Descartes University. She joined Pierre- Antoine Defossez’s team in Septembre 2013 during her M2 internship. She was working on the role of the methyl binding protein ZBTB4 in cell cycle. Then she obtained a PhD Fellowship in July 2014 and she is currently working on the epigenetic regulation of Cancer/Testis Antigen expression trying to link signalling pathway to chromatin remodeler.
